DIGITAL STICKERS INTERACTIVE GAME

HOMER Learning created Make your Own Story, an interactive game of digital stickers for children age 2 to 8. The digital stickers create opportunities for learning and storytelling around 20 curricular themes such as Ocean Animals, Bugs or Space. Each theme has a scrollable background and offers 15 to 25 stickers.

I was responsible for the Art Direction of the series. Working closely with our Chief Learning Officer and our in-house illustrator, we brainstormed relevant themes and elements that children would instantly love and recognize. We thought about how the pairing of elements would encourage storytelling and engage the imagination of children. We wanted a range of art styles, some more realistic for scientific accuracy such as Ocean Animals, and some more fantastical and imaginative such as Space or Monsters.
